Reuse Textbook Programme

 The Reuse Textbook Programme is a sustainability-driven initiative by the Children Welfare Association aimed at promoting educational equity and environmental consciousness. Every year, thousands of textbooks in excellent condition are discarded after just one use. Through this programme, we collect, sort, and redistribute gently-used textbooks to children from low-income families, ensuring they have access to essential learning resources for the new academic year.

Our goal is simple: to reduce financial burden on families while extending the lifespan of valuable educational materials. The programme runs annually before the school year begins, with the support of schools, volunteers, and generous donors who contribute used textbooks in good condition.
