Many of these children rarely get the chance to explore life outside their immediate environment due to financial and social constraints.

The Digital Learning Access Programme is an ongoing initiative by the Children Welfare Association aimed at closing the digital divide for children from underprivileged backgrounds. Through this programme, we provide laptops, tablets, internet connectivity, and digital literacy support to children who would otherwise struggle to participate in online learning and digital-based school assignments.
The Health Screening Programme is a vital initiative by the Children Welfare Association that focuses on providing free basic health and dental check-ups for children from low-income families. Recognising that good health is the foundation of a child’s development and education, this programme ensures that no child is left behind due to undetected health or dental issues.
In many parts of Java and Sumatra, children lack basic dental and health care, leading to infections and missed school days. This program offers mobile health & dental clinics, hygiene kits, and health education workshops to children and their families.
In remote villages across Vietnam’s central highlands and Mekong delta, many children walk long distances to school barefoot or in worn-out sandals. This exposes them to injuries, infections, and discourages daily attendance — especially during the rainy season when paths become muddy and hazardous.
Thousands of children in Manila live on the streets, exposed to hunger, abuse, and trafficking. Safe Haven Shelter offers them a secure place to sleep, meals, education support, and counseling to help them reintegrate into society.

Programme 2 :
The Tuckshop Meals Coupon Programme was created to ensure that no child has to go through their school day hungry. Many children from low-income households attend school without the means to buy food during recess or lunch breaks. This often leads to fatigue, loss of focus, and even absenteeism. Through this programme, we provide eligible students with meal coupons that can be used at participating school tuckshops to redeem nutritious meals, snacks, or drinks. These coupons give children the freedom to choose from a selection of healthy options, promoting both dignity and independence in how they access food.
Programme 3:
The Bring Our Children Out Programme is an initiative designed to expose underprivileged children to enriching experiences beyond the walls of their homes and classrooms. Many of these children rarely get the chance to explore life outside their immediate environment due to financial and social constraints. This programme organizes educational outings, recreational trips, cultural visits, and nature excursions that broaden their horizons and offer them moments of joy, wonder, and discovery.

The Reuse Textbook Programme is a sustainability-driven initiative by the Children Welfare Association aimed at promoting educational equity and environmental consciousness. Every year, thousands of textbooks in excellent condition are discarded after just one use. Through this programme, we collect, sort, and redistribute gently-used textbooks to children from low-income families, ensuring they have access to essential learning resources for the new academic year.
